It is a capital city of the state having various hills. It is an ancient city which is built on hills. The padmabhaswamy temple, Napier museum with bronze collection, the chitralayam art museum is a good place to visit.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
It’s located in the Cardamom Hills section of theWestern Ghatsat an altitude of 900m-1800m. A fantastic place to take boat, jeep or hiking trips to spot elephants, monkeys and even the elusive tiger.
It is a second most popular of all Kerala beaches gorgeous beach below rocky cliffs lined with chilled out Cafe- the perfect place to watch the spectacular sunsets. There is plenty of opportunities of yoga and ayurveda.
